The second pair of Cluster IIspacecraft, Tango and Rumba, were successfully launched on 9 August. The first two , Samba and Salsa had already launched successfully on 16 July. To date everything has gone perfectly, and all four are now in their correct final orbits. We will shortly begin commissioning instruments, and expect to be returning full science data by Christmas. here is the the Latest Newsand someLinks. |

Happy New millenium! This site is currently being given an appropriate spring clean. This should be an exciting year, with major launches including Image (25 March) and Cluster II (June/July). |
